As you enter the resort, thermal scanners - to detect raised temperatures - are at each entrance. The state of Nevada requires face masks to be worn in public areas, and FDA-approved masks are worn by all Team Members. Complimentary masks are available to guests at thermal scanning stations at every entrance. The frequency of cleaning and disinfecting has been increased in all public spaces. We’re focusing on high-touch surfaces. High-touch surfaces include door handles, escalator and stair handrails, and elevator buttons. Guests and Team Members must practice physical distancing. Staying at least six feet apart from others will help minimize risk. Keep this in mind while standing in lines, using elevators, or moving around the resort.
We created our Venetian Clean Commitment to reassure our visitors and Team Members that their health and safety are top of mind. Our efforts laid out below explain our response to COVID-19. Our new cleaning practices for hygiene and sanitation exceed our already high standards. We are meeting or exceeding the requirements of the CDC.
The Venetian Resort is open, with safety protocols and plans in place to help reduce the transmission of COVID-19. We continue to operate under our Venetian Clean Commitment, which was designed to enhance safety and minimize risk for our visitors and Team Members. These guidelines continue to be adjusted based on current recommendations of health officials and local, state and national governments.
The Venetian Clean Commitment has been certified by Bureau Veritas, a nearly 200-year-old world leader in testing, inspection, and certification. Bureau Veritas has developed the Safe Guard™ Hygiene Excellence and Safety Label to support the operational activities for The Venetian as we continues to keep safety and hygiene at the forefront. The Cleveland Clinic serves as the Medical Advisor for Bureau Veritas’ health, safety and sustainability programs, including Safe Guard.
We were very impressed with the friendly staff and very clean rooms and casino. Extra efforts were made to keep everyone safe and to keep everything as clean and sanitary as possible. The rooms are huge, comfortable and clean. The pool was fun, service was on point and there was plenty of extra towels and seating. Grand Lux was open late for eating and was reasonably priced and very good. This is our number one hotel to stay at in Vegas from now on. Very impressed with the accomendations, staff and restaurant choices.
Our already strict cleaning and disinfecting standards have been upgraded. We’ve put more emphasis on high-touch items like TV remotes, door and furniture handles, and control panels. Disinfectant sprayers and more are being added to our cleaning practices.
In every suite, guests receive a Venetian Clean “personal care” amenity kit. Each kit includes hand sanitizer, sanitizing wipes and two personal face masks. Masks are replenished daily.
Venetian Clean includes more than 800 separate health and safety protocols
All restaurants and bars have reduced seating to provide spacing between tables and chairs. Single-use or online menus are used to minimize risk. Staff are wearing FDA-approved masks at all times.
We have rearranged the casino floor to allow for physical distancing. Our casinos are cleaned around the clock by dedicated staff. Nearly 100 hand sanitizers have been installed in our gaming areas. We’ve also instituted additional cleaning procedures for slot machines, chips, Poker cards, playing surfaces, and more. At the completion of each round of play, all used chips are cleaned before being put back into play.
Pool seating has been arranged to allow for six feet of space between every family or couple. In addition, swimming pool surfaces are treated with an anti-viral/anti-bacterial treatment daily. Routine cleaning of pool decks, lounge chairs and restrooms has been increased.
We have new cleaning measures in our Congress Center and Sands Expo Convention Center. Public spaces like restrooms, escalator rails, meeting rooms, and exhibit halls are part of that list. Seating capacities and floor plans are reviewed on an event-by-event basis at this time. Transparent barriers provide distancing needs.

Banquet service standards have changed. Operation and sanitation methods for items like linen and silverware have been updated. Self-serve buffet options have been put on hold. New menus showcase items available and additional styles of service. Beverages, including coffee, and snacks are served by an attendant.
Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) are on staff 24 hours a day. If there's a suspected case of COVID-19, the guest will be directed toward appropriate medical care. Additional cleaning measures will take place in areas the guest has visited.
Safety and sanitation methods are of the utmost importance. All Team Members receive training on these in regards to COVID-19. All Team Members will wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE). Additional training on use and disposal of PPE is also provided.
Very good. They provide you a package of two gloves, two masks, sanitizer, and hand sanitizing wipes. They were one of the hotels that do thermal scanning when you go inside the hotel and casinos. It's not packed when we came so we enjoyed our stay even more. Some stores were closed but slowing opening. The casino area was surrounded by sanitizing stations to clean your dirty hands. On the table games, only three players at a time which was good and practicing social distancing on a tee.
