Tony Yousfi

Chief Sales Officer

Tony Yousfi joined The Venetian Resort Las Vegas as Chief Sales Officer in September 2022. He brings 15 years of valuable hospitality experience, including his most recent roles as Vice President of Sales, Catering, and Conference Services for Fontainebleau Las Vegas, and before that, Chief Growth Officer of Carver Road Hospitality and Vice President of Sales, Services, Catering, Group Dining, and Weddings for MGM Resorts International. Beginning his career as a national sales manager, Yousfi accelerated his career through his vital contributions to various multi-million-dollar, large-scale projects. In 2019, Yousfi was awarded the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) Top 25 Award for his exhibition of exceptional leadership and contributions to the hospitality industry. “The Venetian Resort is iconic and really changed the landscape of meetings and conventions in Las Vegas,” said Yousfi. “I’m thrilled to join this team and build upon its legacy as a leader in the MICE industry.”

Kirsten Dimond

Senior Vice President & General Manager, The Venetian Expo

Kirsten Dimond is Vice President and General Manager of The Venetian Convention & Expo Center. In 2003, she joined the company as the Director of Hotel Operations and within two years was promoted to Vice President of Hotel Operations. In this capacity, she was part of the opening of the Venezia Tower (2003), The Venetian Macao (2007), and The Palazzo (2008). At the end of 2014, she was appointed Vice President of Operations for The Venetian Convention & Expo Center. Kirsten began her career with an apprenticeship and hotel college in Germany. She then moved to London, where she worked at The Savoy Hotel. After four years, she joined The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in Boston; during her time there she became part of the corporate leadership team as Director of Quality, where she took a main role in achieving the prestigious Malcom Baldrige National Quality Award (MBNQA) for the company in 1999. After this, she took Rooms Executive leadership roles in their properties in Sydney, Australia; Seoul, South Korea; and San Juan, Puerto Rico, before returning to Boston to open the Ritz-Carlton Boston Common and re-open the Ritz-Carlton Boston. Kirsten is a life member of the Savoy Gastronomes (Worldwide Hospitality Association), a founding member of La Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs (San Juan chapter), and served as a Board Member of the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association.

Karin Davis

Vice President of Sales | The Venetian Resort Las Vegas

Karin Davis is the vice president of sales at The Venetian® Resort Las Vegas. Karin joined The Venetian in 2008 as a national sales manager focused on technology, pharmaceutical and insurance clients, before advancing to her current role in 2022. As vice president of sales, she is responsible for developing strategy and management of the groups team, including the vertical deployment of technology, medical and health, insurance, banking and real estate. In addition, she is responsible for growing revenues, development and mentoring of staff, and bringing experiences to life through enhancing existing partnerships and developing new customers at the landmark Las Vegas meetings complex. Karin received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in hotel management and her MBA from University of Phoenix. As a leader in the meetings industry she is a member of MPI and HSMAI, and participates in CEMA, Pharma Forum, and FICP with a focus on developing a team of managers who are a strategic resource within their vertical alignments. Karin has more than 20 years in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining The Venetian, she spent five years as director of sales and marketing at The Westin Las Vegas, and three years as director of sales at Embassy Suites where she was able to gain experience managing and developing strategy for both sales and catering, corporate group business, and growing the meetings segments within both properties. Karin loves to run, dive and golf. She resides in Las Vegas and is married with a son and daughter.

Sean Morris

Vice President of Sales | The Venetian Resort Las Vegas

Sean Morris is Vice President of Sales for The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. In this leadership position, he develops strategy and manages the groups sales team. He began his career at the resort in 2003 as National Sales Manager. Morris brings more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He has extensive knowledge of vertical markets, including trade shows, manufacturing, retail, and entertainment. Prior to The Venetian Resort, Sean worked for Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Marriott International, and The Ritz-Carlton. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality Management from Howard University. Sean is a highly effective communicator. Relationships are the key to his success. He is a member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI), the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI), and the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE).

John Quach, CMP, CPCE

Executive Director, Catering and Conference Management

John Quach is Executive Director of Catering and Conference Management at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas. He joined the team in 2006 as a Meeting Services Concierge, where he wore many hats and mastered the art of multitasking. John’s attention to detail and passion for food propelled him through the ranks to various leadership roles within catering and conference management. As the Director of Catering and Conference Management, he was instrumental in banquet menu design, standardizing banquet event orders, and fostering interdepartmental communication. In his current role as Executive Director of Catering and Conference Management, John leads and manages the day-to-day operations of the team. He also develops, plans, and oversees training and development for the catering and conference managers. He and his team collaborate directly with The Venetian Expo and Sales teams to plan future strategies to drive loyalty and increase repeat business. Prior to The Venetian Resort, John began his journey at Casa Madrona Hotel in Sausalito, CA, where he honed his hospitality skills in various roles from valet, bellman, front desk, and concierge. His tenacity led him to Hilton LAX as Catering Coordinator, further enriching his expertise in food and beverage and event planning. John earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Management Information Systems from California Polytechnic State. He’s a Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) from the Convention Industry Council (CIC) and a Certified Professional in Catering and Events (CPCE) from the National Association for Catering and Events (NACE). When he’s not orchestrating world-class events, John pursues his interest in cuisine and nature. He loves spending time outdoors exploring mountains and beaches as much as possible.
