Chandra Allison is the Senior Vice President of Sales at The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas and Sands Expo & Convention Center. Chandra has more than 20 years of experience in sales and operations, having held sales leadership positions since 2004. She is responsible for leading the strategic business development of Meetings, Incentive, Convention and Exhibition (MICE) segment and leisure transient for the property, in addition to channel distribution. Chandra also led the sales and marketing transformation efforts of the CEB Challenger Model within the organization. As a leader in the meetings segment, Chandra has focused on education and industry advocacy. She currently serves on the MPI (Meeting Professionals International) Foundation Global Board of Trustees (GBOT) Foundation and Executive Committee and the US Travel Meetings Mean Business Coalition Board.
Kirsten Dimond is Vice President and General Manager of Sands Expo & Convention Center. She has served in various roles with Las Vegas Sands Corp. for the past fourteen years. In 2003, she joined the company as the Director of Hotel Operations and within two years was promoted to Vice President of Hotel Operations. In this capacity, she was part of the opening of the Venezia Tower (2003), The Venetian Macao (2007), and The Palazzo (2008). At the end of 2014, she was appointed Vice President of Operations for Sands Expo & Convention Center. Kirsten began her career with an apprenticeship and hotel college in Germany. She then moved to London, where she worked at The Savoy Hotel. After four years, she joined The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in Boston; during her time there she became part of the corporate leadership team as Director of Quality, where she took a main role in achieving the prestigious Malcom Baldrige National Quality Award (MBNQA) for the company in 1999. After this, she took Rooms Executive leadership roles in their properties in Sydney, Australia; Seoul, South Korea; and San Juan, Puerto Rico, before returning to Boston to open the Ritz-Carlton Boston Common and re-open the Ritz-Carlton Boston. Kirsten is a life member of the Savoy Gastronomes (Worldwide Hospitality Association), a founding member of La Confrérie de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs (San Juan chapter), and served as a Board Member of the Nevada Hotel and Lodging Association.
Gary McCreary is the Vice President of Catering & Convention Operations for The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas, overseeing conference management and banquet operations. Gary was on the opening team of The Venetian and has since participated in the opening of every major property for Las Vegas Sands Corp. in Macau, Singapore, and Bethlehem Pennsylvania. Prior, Gary worked for the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) as an International Meeting Planner out of Dallas, Texas. Gary also worked for Loews Anatole Hotel, where he was Director of Catering and then Assistant Director of Conference Management. A native Texan, Gary graduated cum laude from The University of North Texas, Denton, Texas, with a degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management.
Tyler Stewart is Vice President of Convention Sales for The Venetian and The Palazzo Las Vegas and Sands Expo & Convention Center, where he has worked since 2005 and in various sales leadership roles since 2009. As Executive Director of Sales, he was responsible of leading the day to day sales efforts for the group and convention sales team, where he has helped to build a highly talented and successful sales team with a positive culture. Tyler is a very involved in various industry associations like PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association), MPI (Meeting Professional International) and serves on several committees for IAEE (International Association of Exhibitions and Events). He is also a recent graduate of the Aspen Institute’s First Movers Fellowship Program. Tyler is a “father” of two rescue dogs, golfer, traveler and skier. Tyler is also an avid reader of non-fiction.
