04 Happy Hour is the Best Hour

Looking for a great happy hour? Matteo’s Ristorante Italiano and sixth+mill ristorante, pizzeria and bar both offer 50% off specialty cocktails, wines by the glass, and beers. Enjoy a selection of small bites offered on their bar and lounge menus. At Matteo’s, some options to try are a lightly-fried sage dough with arugula, stracciatella, and olive oil or foie gras with a brandy-glazed pear. From the cocktails, sip on the sta’schise, mixed with mezcal, Fresno chili, rhubarb, aperol, lime, agave, and basil. For sixth+mill, try the Brussels sprouts, they’re a great balance of crispy and tender with toasted almonds, paprika, and lemon. 06 Veggies Just Got Upgraded

Great news vegans, plant-based restaurants in Las Vegas are on the rise. The Strip is seen as a place to indulge, but who says you can’t indulge in being healthy? At Black Tap Craft Burger & Beer, you can do just that. They offer meatless patty options, and a vegan CrazyShake called the black ‘n white cake shake. It’s a soy-based chocolate shake, with a housemade vanilla frosting rim (made with almond milk), chocolate chips on the side, and topped with a thick slice of Black ‘n White cake, which swaps in applesauce instead of dairy.
