Richie Jen is a Taiwanese singer and actor. He released his first solo album Ask Again in 1990. He released two more albums in 1991, Cold & Tender and Fly to My Own Sky. In 1996, he joined Rock Records, and released his breakthrough album Too Softhearted.
Richie Jen was with Rock Records for nine years before signing with EMI. He has participated in and taken roles in many Mandarin and Cantonese movies and TV series, which have accumulated just as much as the music albums and singles he has released.
Richie Jen's single, "Too Softhearted", is now 26 years old and has already garnered over 54 million views on YouTube streaming alone. The song has been translated into English, Cantonese, Bahasa Malaysia, Thai, Burmese, and Italian.
