The Waterfall Atrium and Gardens Transform for Chinese New Year

To commemorate the Year of the Rooster, floral and horticulture teams at The Venetian and The Palazzo created a massive Chinese New Year display. The installation’s feature, a hand-painted fire rooster, stands 15 feet tall and is 16 feet long.

Eye Ceremony and Lion Dance Celebration

January 28, 2017 3:00 p.m.

The lion dance, symbolizing luck and prosperity, will officially kick off the Chinese New Year celebration at The Venetian and The Palazzo on January 28 at 3:00 p.m. This exciting event features firecrackers and a parade of dancers and drummers. The ceremonial lion dance will begin at The Venetian porte cochere.

Hong Kong singer, songwriter, and actor, Sam Hui will be performing at The Venetian Las Vegas for Chinese New Year. Credited with popularizing Cantopop, Hui will perform on Saturday, January 28 in The Venetian Ballroom with special guest Shannon Lee. 許冠傑,暱稱阿Sam、歌神,香港著名歌手、詞曲作者及演員。
