Rock of Ages

Rock of Ages, the "insanely fun" (Time Out New York) worldwide smash hit that features a raucous mix of 28 eyebrow-scorching tunes, is now playing at the Venetian.

Set in L.A.'s infamous Sunset Strip in 1987, Rock of Ages tells the story of Drew, a boy from South Detroit and Sherrie, a small-town girl, both in L.A. to chase their dreams of making it big and falling in love. ROCK OF AGES takes you back to the times of big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos and sporting even bigger hair! This hilarious, feel-good love story celebrates the great rock songs of the '80s including such sing-out-loud songs as "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "I Wanna Know What Love Is," "Here I Go Again," "Don't Stop Believin'" and more.

"Excruciating!" Reviewed yesterday My wife and I saw the show on Jul 4. The storyline is very weak, but the show could have been salvageable if the performances were strong and the vocals decent. Sadly neither was the case. The vocals...
"the best of 80's rock" Reviewed yesterday a must see for the 80's rock fan. great selection of 80's songs. entertains and reminisces at the same time. select a center seat rather than a seat closer to the stage but at the edge.
"Great Music, Talented Cast, Memory Trigger" Reviewed yesterday The music and talented cast are a winner. If you find the frequent references and actions to accentuate the phallus objectionable, you will find the first act offensive. The second act was more...
"Rock rocks....." Reviewed yesterday I have to say I was surprised by the different demographics here - there were some much older people - we are in our 60's - my kids are in there late 30's. We were 6 of us - this show is incredible...
