  • Overview

Rock of Ages, the "insanely fun" (Time Out New York) worldwide smash hit that features a raucous mix of 28 eyebrow-scorching tunes, is now playing at the Venetian.

Set in L.A.'s infamous Sunset Strip in 1987, Rock of Ages tells the story of Drew, a boy from South Detroit and Sherrie, a small-town girl, both in L.A. to chase their dreams of making it big and falling in love. ROCK OF AGES takes you back to the times of big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos and sporting even bigger hair! This hilarious, feel-good love story celebrates the great rock songs of the '80s including such sing-out-loud songs as "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "I Wanna Know What Love Is," "Here I Go Again," "Don't Stop Believin'" and more.

"O.K. but not great" 3 of 5 stars The only way I can describe this show (which is known commercially as a “jukebox musical” – where the songs of a past group or era are used as the musical sound track of a show) is that it is a group...
"Enjoyed it" 5 of 5 stars Enjoyed the performance and again experienced a performance where the performers seemed to really enjoy what they were doing. Did not like the sears we had and were mislead by the vendor, would...
"Rock of Ages" 5 of 5 stars One of the best shows in Vegas, and I have seen a lot of the higher priced shows. Definitely worth the time and money even if you have seen the movie. Rock of Ages is still a must see. This show...
"Rock in all it's glory at the Rio." 5 of 5 stars It was fun, entertaining,it was rock and roll. The cast where fantastically entertaining and the venue was small and intimate. We had bought standard tickets on arrival but where offered an upgrade to...
"Relive the music of the 80s" 4 of 5 stars If you think you are going to watch the movie version of Rock of ages, you are in for a treat. The musical is much better than the movie. Full of laughs and music. Sing along if you're inclined.
